Former Vice President Al Gore and United Nations climate panel were awarded for the Nobel Peace Prize for their work on raising awareness in the global climate change. Many supporters of Gore are asking the former Vice President to jump into the 2008 Presidential race, but Gore continually rejected in getting into the race. Traditionally the Norwegian Nobel Committee awards the peace prize to individuals working in the areas of global peace, but this year the committee focused on groups working on social stability.
