Protestors from all parts of the country gathered at a small town of Jena, Louisiana, to voice their opposition against the unfair treatment of six black students by the region’s justice system. The incident started when three nooses where hanging down on a tree, where normally white students congregate. Racial tensions escalated, and black teenagers were charged up to attempted murder after a white student was alleged to have beaten up. Many Civil Rights groups condemned the region's justice system for the unfair treatment of the students.
